Full Job Description
We are looking for a Project Controls Analyst. This position is project based with an opportunity to continue at other sites. The right candidate will be able to take on project control and reporting responsibility for small, medium, and large-scale projects. Position will require participation in all phases of the project life cycle including Proposal Development Stage, Front End Development, Constructability, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning. Key Responsibilities: • Partner directly with the Branch Manager(s) to monitor, analyze, and report on the overall performance and financial health of all projects across the regional portfolio. • Drive margin protection and cost control initiatives by evaluating project actuals against estimates, identifying cost variances, and providing consolidated tracking and forecasting for multiple concurrent jobs. • Leverage advanced spreadsheet modeling and business intelligence platforms (such as Power BI) to develop and maintain standardized regional dashboards, translating large amounts of complex project data into actionable insights for branch leadership. • Assist with implementation and use of BrandSafway designated tools (e.g., J&E, XTool) for timekeeping, job tracking, and cost control. • Collaborate closely with individual field Project Managers to align data tracking outputs and practices - ensuring accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, billing, and earned value management. • Coordinate with customers to meet contractual requirements for reporting, billing, collections, and operations. • Based primarily in local branch office with travel of up to 10% to regional project sites to support and audit site practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; 4-6 years of direct, hands-on experience in project controls, earned value management, or a similar analytical position within the industry. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a strict requirement; experience utilizing Power BI or equivalent reporting and data visualization platforms to aggregate portfolio-level data. • Proven experience tracking financial and operational metrics for a high volume of projects simultaneously, with a clear focus on cost engineering, variance analysis, and multi-project forecasting. • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred but not required. BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. #LI-KC1
