Description:

NYP is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst in Physician Services to join a world class academic health system. The Senior Analyst will be part of a team of healthcare professionals that support NYP’s regional physician network to deliver the highest quality of care to the New York City Metro area partnering with Regional Facilities and affiliated Medical Schools.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be providing strategic and operational guidance to Physician and Administrative Leadership responsible for growth and access of the NYP Medical Groups.  Candidate will perform financial planning analysis to support physician recruitment, perform business intelligence reporting across productivity, access and other physician practice KPIs delivering insights to guide Senior Administration decision making. Candidate is responsible for developing comprehensive business plans across all specialties for the NYP Medical Group. Candidate will work with operations and clinical leads to execute on strategic initiatives to drive performance improvement and growth.

 

This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday from 9AM - 5PM. Location: 466 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY.

 

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 – 7 years of healthcare administration/strategic planning/financial planning/management consulting experience required or equivalent experience - at the department’s discretion.
  • Knowledge of professionally billing information and revenue cycle.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft office products.
  • Extensive knowledge of HIPAA Standards and Policies.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

 

Preferred Criteria:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and/or EPIC reporting

$85,000-$115,000/Annual
