Full Job Description
What are we looking for?

We are looking for a driven, analytical, and relationship-oriented individual to join our NBA/WNBA Partner Strategy team as a Senior Analyst.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with sound business judgment and an ability to build trusted relationships with our partners. This person will manage the day-to-day strategy and execution of assigned accounts, analyze performance, identify opportunities and risks, and translate findings into clear recommendations and actions.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, managing multiple priorities, and developing a point of view rather than simply reporting what the data says. An interest in basketball and knowledge of the professional basketball landscape is preferred.

What would you do?

As a Senior Analyst on Eventellect's NBA/WNBA Partner Strategy team, you will work closely with Partner Strategy leadership to execute ticketing strategies, manage partner relationships, and drive strong performance across assigned accounts. The role will primarily focus on the NBA, with additional responsibility supporting select strategy and analysis across Eventellect's growing WNBA portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the day-to-day pricing, strategy, and execution of assigned partner accounts and deliverables.
  • Lead recurring partner meetings and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each partner's objectives, inventory, sales calendar, pricing strategy, budgets, and key performance drivers.
  • Analyze ticketing performance, identify opportunities and risks, and translate findings into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Support and execute revenue-management strategies across pricing, inventory allocation and utilization, and product mix.
  • Develop game-, season-, and account-level points of view on performance and strategy.
  • Prepare partner-facing analyses, presentations, performance recaps, and executive-level communications.
  • Collaborate across departments and leadership levels to execute strategies, solve partner challenges, and drive strong outcomes.
  • Become a highly proficient operator of Eventellect's tools, data, and unified ticketing principles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and automation to make partner service more effective and scalable.

Requirements

What is required to succeed?
  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of experience in ticketing, sports business, consulting, analytics, strategy, financial services, technology, or another relevant analytical or service-oriented role.
  • Experience within professional sports, ticketing, live entertainment, or revenue management preferred; NBA or team-side experience is a plus.
  • Interest in basketball and knowledge of the NBA and WNBA, including teams, players, and the broader professional basketball landscape, preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with both partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with SQL, Snowflake, data visualization, or similar analytical tools preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10-20% and work outside traditional business hours when necessary around key partner events and periods.
  • Must be based in the Houston, TX area or willing to relocate. This is an in-person role based out of Eventellect's Houston office.

Benefits

  • A fast-growing company respected both in Houston and nationally.
  • Competitive salary plus performance-based bonus, full benefits, PTO, and 401(k) match.
  • $1,000 annual ticket budget to spend on sports and other live events.
