What you'll be doing...Verizon's Digital Marketing team is hiring a Senior Analyst in Search Engine Marketing to assist in paid search strategic implementation, creative development and day to day operations. You will collaborate with leadership in the paid search channel to drive the execution of premier search strategies. This individual should bring a fresh perspective on how the SEM can operate in the age of AI, and will support the process of changes/shifts that you feel are necessary to get the job done right. You will take part in relationships with external search partners, including both new and existing partners as well as optimization focused technologies. We expect you to come with an understanding of the evolution of search and the benefits of thinking about SEM, SEO and GEO holistically.
Responsibilities include:
- Support SEM functions across multiple brand units at Verizon.
- Campaign development, bid strategy advancement and channel management.
- Assisting relationships with external search partners.
- Responsible for the execution associated with SEM campaigns.
- Knowledge of AI and large language models to develop and deploy an AI strategy that connects consumers to commerce outcomes.
What we're looking for...You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Marketer/agency/consultative services experience in SEM.
- Experience with and knowledge of primary buying platforms and formats (Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Bing, Performance Max, Text Ads and Shopping engines).
- Experience in search analysis and reporting.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Analytical skills in developing marketing reports that enhance SEM performance efficiencies
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Data visualization experience.
- Fluency in data-driven targeting and revenue driving strategy.
- Open to explore new methods of search strategy as consumer behavior adapts

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
