Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst - Planning & Scheduling is a centralized, remote role within the Maintenance Center of Excellence (COE) focused on ski lift maintenance planning across 37 North American resorts. The position develops annual maintenance plans, supports 5-10-year major maintenance and capital planning, strengthens CMMS-based work management, and builds performance metrics that provide visibility to execution and asset readiness.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop annual and seasonal lift maintenance plans that translate regulatory requirements, manufacturer recommendations, preventive maintenance, inspections, service bulletins, asset history, and local needs into executable work.
  • Build 5-10-year maintenance and capital plans that identify major overhauls, component replacements, modernization needs, project dependencies, preliminary resource requirements, and future workload.
  • Establish common planning standards, templates, milestones, labor assumptions, job-readiness expectations, and work-management practices while accounting for differences in resort assets and operating environments.
  • Use MaintainX and other enterprise systems to improve preventive maintenance plans, work-order quality, asset information, maintenance history, backlog visibility, and planning data.
  • Create metrics and dashboards that monitor annual plan progress, work completion, backlog, work readiness, labor demand versus capacity, major milestones, asset readiness, and emerging execution risks.
  • Partner with resort lift maintenance leaders through influence rather than direct authority; facilitate planning discussions, provide coaching and training, share best practices, and help teams resolve workload, capacity, and execution constraints.


Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance management, reliability, asset management, project planning, or a related maintenance role.
  • Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance, backlog management, job planning, labor capacity, work prioritization, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Experience with MaintainX or another CMMS/EAM system; ability to use maintenance data to support planning, reporting, and performance management.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance procedures, equipment manuals, technical documentation, and mechanical/electrical schematics sufficiently to develop credible plans and communicate with technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to influence experienced maintenance leaders without direct supervisory authority.
  • Ability to work effectively across geographically dispersed locations and periodically travel to resort sites.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Experience in ski lift/ropeway maintenance is valuable but not required. Strong candidates may come from mining, utilities, energy, heavy equipment, transportation, forestry, field service, or other multi-site, asset-intensive industries where maintenance is performed in variable outdoor environments.
  • Experience with long-range asset/capital planning, major overhauls, multi-site operations, maintenance KPIs
  • CMRP/CMRT or similar certification
  • Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training
  • Experience in a multi-site or enterprise maintenance environment


The expected pay range is $77,841.00 - $111,201.00+annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
