Role Details
  • Work Location - This role can be based out of either our Toronto or Brampton office. We are open to considering candidates with a preference for either location.
  • Hybrid Environment - This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. Subject to change. The in-office requirement is a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.
  • Salary - The base salary for the position is $82,800- $115,000. The starting base salary is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, experience and internal equity.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, HRIS Systems and Automation to join our Human Resources team. We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to build practical, high-impact automation and AI solutions that solve business challenges and create meaningful value. Reporting to the Director, HRIS, this role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who enjoys translating business needs into scalable systems, workflows, and tools that deliver measurable value.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of HR technology, automation, analytics, and user experience. You will help design and deliver solutions using tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, while partnering with HR and cross-functional stakeholders to modernize processes, simplify the employee experience, and support smarter decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how AI and automation are leveraged across HR. You'll have the chance to explore new technologies, bring innovative ideas to life, and build solutions that create meaningful impact for employees and the business.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and support automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve HR processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the employee, manager, and HR business partner experience.
  • Translate business requirements and process pain points into practical technical solutions, including workflows, integrations, and self-service tools.
  • Develop and deploy solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and other tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, support solution design, and help move initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Contribute to solution design decisions with a focus on usability, scalability, maintainability, and speed to value.
  • Conduct testing, prompt tuning, quality checks, and issue resolution to help ensure solutions are accurate and ready for production.
  • Monitor solution performance, usage, and feedback after launch, and continuously improve automations based on metrics, insights, and operational learnings.
  • Create and maintain documentation, process maps, and user guidance to support adoption and ongoing sustainment.


Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in computer science, information systems, engineering, data/analytics, business technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Experience building, configuring, or supporting automation, workflow, integration, or AI-enabled solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or similar automation and AI technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and emerging AI technologies, including SAP Joule and Agentic AI is preferred.
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, connectors, or data flows across enterprise platforms is an asset.
  • Experience with HR systems, people processes, employee service delivery, or people analytics is a nice to have, but not required.
  • Familiarity with prompt design, testing approaches, and quality assurance for automation or AI solutions is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL is an asset.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
