The Senior Analyst, Global Payroll and Time Solutions is the subject matter expert for global payroll and time solutions, ensuring their integrity, compliance, and effective integration within the organization's HR technology landscape. The role is responsible for leading the continuous improvement, governance, and sustainment of payroll and time systems globally including guiding regional teams and supporting major initiatives such as M&As and system upgrades. By prioritizing risk mitigation, fostering operational excellence, and driving technology adoption, the position enables consistent, efficient, and compliant payroll and time operations across all regions working with the other Global Payroll and Time Standards Office leaders, Regional/Country Payroll Operations, Global HR Operations, Total Reward COE, and other business areas.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
  • Serve as the payroll and time solutions international subject matter expert across all payroll and time processes (prime interaction point with GHRT, D&A, HR Ops, and vendors for all tech matters on behalf of payroll and time); work with fellow HR technology owners to assess impacts of upcoming changes
  • Support the sustainment of global payroll/time governance and operating model
  • Support Global Payroll and Time Initiaves with the delivery and maintenance global strategic/special projects, including M&As (Mergers and Acquisitions)
  • Champion continuous improvement and technology sustainment leading practices; maintain solutions to be up-to-date and compliant
  • Collaborate with GHRT team to identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements to improve payroll processes globally
  • Collaborate with GHRT and D&A to ensure seamless integration and data flow between payroll, time and other HR systems
  • Act as an escalation point of contact for breakdowns, SLAs, and vendor system changes and updates
  • Conduct regular reviews to identify potential gaps or areas for improvement in payroll and time systems
  • Provide guidance and support to regional payroll teams during system upgrades or migrations
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of best practices for payroll and time solutions implementation (e.g., configuration workbooks, past test scripts)
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to educate payroll teams on new technology features and updates
  • Provide insights and decision-making data points to leadership on user adoption, system usage analytics, and other KPIs
  • Give guidelines and establish priorities to teams working on cross-functional projects to implement new payroll and time solutions or enhance existing ones
  • Conduct user acceptance testing for payroll and time defects and enhancement deployments

  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Organizational structure and complexity
  • Deep knowledge of payroll policies and related practices
  • English, French and Spanish an asset, but not mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
