Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Analyst FP&A serves as a strategic business partner to West's Global Corporate Functions. The Senior Analyst, FP&A responsibilities include supporting Corporate functional leaders by delivering financial insights, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical support. The Senior Analyst partners closely with leadership to provide transparency into financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a financial business partner to Corporate function leaders, providing insights, analytics, and decision support.
  • Lead monthly financial review discussions with Corporate stakeholders, analyzing results, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to monthly executive expense management summaries for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), highlighting performance drivers and forward-looking risks.
  • Perform functional planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for Corporate functions.
  • Support the annual budget process, including analysis preparation, scenario modeling, and presentation of results to management.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data within SAP and related financial systems.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and business priorities.


Education

  • Education: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance


Work Experience

  • Experience: 4-7 years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Planning & Analysis


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP BW/BI preferred.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent oral and written skills; interpersonal skills, fact finder skills, active listening, critical thinking, time management, problem sensitivity and project management skills.
  • Ability to leverage technology to improve, analyze and report results.
