Position Title: Senior Analyst, Facilities & Development

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Facilities & Development supports JetBlue's Infrastructure, Properties & Development activities at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), providing project coordination, facilities planning, analytical, and administrative support across airport development projects and ongoing facilities operations.

The Senior Analyst works in a project- and operations-oriented environment and supports a diverse portfolio that includes the FLL Terminal 5 Development Program, FLL BlueHouse Lounge development, existing FLL facilities operations, and other infrastructure, property, and development initiatives as assigned.

The role serves as a key coordination point between JetBlue stakeholders, Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD), consultants, contractors, business partners, and facilities personnel. Responsibilities include supporting project scope, schedule and budget management; coordinating facilities work orders and preventive maintenance activities; tracking operational and project issues; maintaining project and facilities documentation; supporting financial planning and reporting; and helping ensure timely resolution of facilities and development-related matters.

The Senior Analyst will provide flexibility to support changing priorities across FLL's active development and operating environment while helping improve project controls, facilities planning, stakeholder coordination, and administrative execution.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of capital, infrastructure, and facilities initiatives, including the FLL Terminal 5 Development Program, FLL BlueHouse Lounge, and other assigned projects, from planning and design through construction, turnover, and closeout.
  • Support project controls and performance management by monitoring scope, schedule, budget, milestones, risks, decisions, financial activity, and other key project requirements and providing timely reporting and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including JetBlue operational teams and leadership, airport authorities, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and business partners, to support project delivery, facilities operations, issue resolution, and continuity of airline operations.
  • Support facilities planning and day-to-day facilities coordination across assigned JetBlue locations, including administration of work orders, preventive maintenance activities, inspections, corrective actions, contractor activities, and other facility requirements.
  • Coordinate and track maintenance matters performed by airport authorities, landlords, business partners, and other third parties, including issue documentation, follow-up, escalation, service verification, and communication with affected stakeholders.
  • Provide analytical, financial, and administrative support across the facilities and development portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, expense and invoice review, project and facilities reporting, performance analysis, dashboards, records, and management reporting.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve facilities and project performance, including maintenance reliability, operational effectiveness, cost management, planning, processes, and reporting.
  • Support changing operational, facilities, and development priorities as needed, including irregular operations, emerging maintenance or project requirements, and other Infrastructure, Properties & Development initiatives as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, real estate, facilities management, finance, planning, or another relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
  • Three (3) years in construction, capital project management, facilities management, facility planning, real estate development, project coordination, airport infrastructure, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, projects, and operational requirements.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly operational environment where project and maintenance activities must be coordinated around ongoing airline operations.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience supporting aviation, airport, terminal, lounge, or other complex infrastructure environments.
  • Experience coordinating with airport authorities, airlines, consultants, contractors, and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience with facilities work-order or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with project controls, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, or financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with construction and project-management tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, and other airport or commercial facility systems.
  • PMP, CCM, CFM, or other applicable project, construction, or facilities certification preferred.

Crewmember Expectations:
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance.
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
  • Identify safety and security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)).
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.
  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.
