Senior Analyst, Engagement AnalyticsThe RoleWe are building a new Engagement Analytics function at Lantern, focused entirely on understanding and improving our mid and lower-funnel conversion performance. The Senior Analyst, Engagement Analytics will be one of the founding members of this team, responsible for building the analytical infrastructure and delivering the insights that help us understand why members do or do not complete their care journey.
This role requires someone who can operate at two levels simultaneously: detailed enough to build reliable tracking and measurement, and strategic enough to translate what the data reveals into actionable recommendations for operations and member services leadership.
Location: Dallas, Texas or New York, New York - Hybrid Schedule (3x in offer per week)
What You'll DoConversion & Funnel Analytics- Own end-to-end measurement of Lantern's mid and lower funnel - from member identification through provider selection, scheduling, and case completion
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give operations and member services leaders clear visibility into conversion rates, drop-off points, and performance trends
- Identify where and why members fall out of the funnel, quantifying the impact and surfacing root causes
- Develop conversion benchmarks and targets across segments, cohorts, and channels
Attribution & Performance Analysis- Build attribution frameworks that connect operational interventions (outreach, navigation support, provider recommendations) to conversion outcomes
- Analyze the performance of member services agents and care coordinators, developing productivity metrics and real-time monitoring capabilities
- Partner with the Engagement Analytics Manager and Member Services leadership to define KPIs and build the reporting infrastructure to track them
Insight Generation & Stakeholder Support- Translate analytical findings into clear, structured recommendations - written and verbal - for operational and executive audiences
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from Member Services and Operations leadership with speed and accuracy
- Document methodologies, definitions, and data sources so the team builds on a reliable foundation
- Leverage AI tools to automate recurring reporting tasks, identify anomalies at scale, and accelerate the production of analytical outputs - building toward systematic solutions that reduce manual effort across the team
What We're Looking ForRequired- 3-5 years of experience in an analytics role with a focus on funnel, conversion, or operations performance
- Strong SQL skills - you can independently build complex queries and navigate large relational datasets
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar BI tool for dashboard creation
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Proven ability to define measurement frameworks from scratch - you have built tracking and reporting where none existed before
- Strong communication skills: you can explain analytical findings clearly to operational stakeholders
Preferred- Experience in healthcare, member services, or a consumer-facing platform with a multi-step conversion funnel
- Familiarity with CRM data (Salesforce or similar) and connecting CRM events to analytical outcomes
- Background in attribution modeling or multi-touch analysis
- Experience working in an early-stage or newly formed team where building from zero is the expectation
- Comfort leveraging AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, or LLM-powered analytics workflows) to drive personal efficiency and identify opportunities to automate manual processes

Budget: $100k base-$115k base + 10-15% bonus (depends on level/exp)
