The CIWS portfolio within the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit has an opening for a Senior Analyst, Contracts in support of the Land Based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS) program. The LPWS team works closely with our Army customer to maintain the weapon system as well as to integrate new technologies.
The Analyst will be responsible for administering a large 5-year contract with the Army. This role will work closely with the Program Management, Finance, and Supply Chain functions to ensure compliance with the contract and with company policies, process contract modifications, and work closely with the Government customer to resolve and address issues as they arise. Additionally, this role will have the opportunity to work periodically with our DCS International portfolio, providing support to our Contracts Manager when needed to develop proposals, process Submit Gates, and award new contracts. It is anticipated this role will be allocated 75% to the Army contract and 25% to our DCS portfolio.
To be successful in this role ideally requires some knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Experience in any of the following; Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Legal or similar
Qualifications We Prefer- Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) and related government regulations
- Defense industry experience
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence business decisions and outcomes
- Advanced Degrees in Business, Finance, supply chain or related
- Active Secret clearance is a plus but not required

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
