You’ll be joining a highly collaborative Commercial Analytics team that plays a central role in how Baxter understands sales performance, pipeline health, and commercial execution across the organization. This group partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Commercial Operations to bring clarity, accuracy, and insight to complex commercial data coming from Salesforce, ERP systems, and multiple upstream sources.
We’re seeking a data‑driven, detail‑oriented Senior Analyst who enjoys solving analytical problems, improving data quality, and translating business questions into meaningful insights. In this role, you’ll build reporting, validate pipeline and contract data, and support commercial decision‑making through accurate, timely analytics. You’ll work hands‑on with SQL, Alteryx, and BI tools to prepare, reconcile, and interpret data that directly influences sales strategy and revenue performance.
This is a high‑impact role with strong visibility across the commercial organization. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners, support leadership with actionable reporting, and contribute to ongoing efforts to modernize Baxter’s commercial data environment. This position follows a hybrid schedule and is based out of our Deerfield, IL office.
What you’ll be doing
Developing and maintaining recurring sales and commercial performance reporting across accounts, products, and regions.
Supporting pipeline and forecasting analytics by extracting, validating, and analyzing opportunity data from Salesforce.
Building dashboards and reports that track bookings, pipeline health, win rates, and sales execution metrics.
Performing contract analytics, including pricing validation, volume commitments, and commercial performance tracking.
Reconciling reported sales, contracted pricing, and revenue assumptions in partnership with Sales Operations and Finance.
Using SQL and Alteryx to extract, transform, and validate data from Salesforce, ERP systems, and other commercial data sources.
Conducting data quality checks, investigating root‑cause issues, and collaborating with upstream data owners to ensure accuracy.
Translating business questions into clear analytical outputs and presenting insights to commercial stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.
0–3+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales reporting, business intelligence, or related analytical work (open to strong new graduates with relevant internships or project experience).
Experience working with Salesforce data—opportunities, accounts, pipeline metrics—is preferred.
Proficiency in SQL and Alteryx or Python for data transformation, validation, and analysis.
Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage, validate, and troubleshoot complex datasets.
Ability to translate business questions into analytical outputs and communicate insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Commercial Operations preferred.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 -$110,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
