Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of air permitting and compliance experience, especially in Texas
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and technical writing
• Experience with State and Federal air quality regulations compliance strategies
• Proven analytical problem-solving abilities
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%
• Valid State driver's license
• Experience in electric generation or cement manufacturing regulatory programs
• Familiarity with air dispersion modeling

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for air quality projects
• Manage complex air quality permitting and compliance projects
• Assist clients with federal and state air quality regulatory compliance
• Interface with State agencies and EPA on client behalf
• Collaborate with colleagues, consultants, and legal teams
• Advocate for clients by updating them on regulatory changes
• Participate in public meetings and hearings for clients
• Calculate emissions and evaluate control technologies
• Conduct environmental compliance audits
• Perform QA/QC of technical work products
• Mentor junior technical staff
• Support business development through client interactions and marketing efforts
• Contribute to technical articles and internal marketing materials
