Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of air permitting and compliance experience, preferably in Texas
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including technical writing and presentations
• Experience interpreting and developing compliance strategies for air quality regulations
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Valid State driver's license
• Experience with electricity generation or cement manufacturing air permitting
• Familiarity with air dispersion modeling

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for air quality permitting projects
• Manage complex air quality permitting and compliance services
• Assist clients with federal and state air quality regulatory compliance
• Interface with state agencies and the EPA for client needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners on air quality issues
• Advocate for clients, keeping them informed of regulatory changes
• Participate in public meetings and hearings for clients
• Calculate emissions and evaluate control technologies
• Conduct environmental compliance audits
• Ensure QA/QC of technical work products
• Mentor technical staff and support their development
• Engage in business development efforts through various channels
• Contribute to marketing materials and author technical articles
