The ideal candidate will effectively balance dual responsibilities - serving as a Project Manager to drive strategy, stakeholder alignment, and delivery, while also acting as a Scrum Master to ensure the team remains agile, focused, and unblocked. This individual will bring structure to planning, prioritization, and execution, enabling speed, clarity, and accountability across evolving AI and automation initiatives.

  • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the AI Engineering team, translating strategic objectives into actionable project roadmaps.
  • Ensure alignment on business goals, success metrics, and delivery priorities.
  • Own overall project health, including budget, resource allocation, timelines, and delivery outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong adaptability and decision-making by responding effectively to technical or operational changes while maintaining momentum.
  • Bridge executive leadership and engineering teams through clear communication, status reporting, and strategic insights.
  • Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation and contingency planning.

Agile Execution & Scrum Leadership
  • Lead key Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to maintain team velocity.
  • Support the development team by removing blockers and minimizing disruptions to delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is clear, prioritized, and ready for execution.
  • Establish and reinforce best practices for backlog management, estimation, and sprint planning.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and iterative learning.

Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in Project Management and Technical Program Management within technology organizations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working closely with engineering teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and confidently lead discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the flexibility to adapt practices to project needs.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Certifications: PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe.
  • AI/ML Experience: Experience managing projects involving AI, Machine Learning, or Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Industry Experience: Background in Insurance, Financial Services, or large-scale enterprise IT environments.

The base salary range for this position is $134,000 - $209,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
