A career as a Senior Transfer Pricing Advisor in the taxation team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in charge of managing transfer pricing related to the Bank's and its subsidiaries' international activities. Complying with applicable tax and regulatory requirements. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your tax expertise, analytical skills and understanding of international transactions.
Your job - Develop, implement and maintain Transfer Pricing policies applicable to transactions between the Bank and its subsidiaries, both in Canada and abroad.
- Coordinate the functional and financial analyses required to support compensation for intercompany transactions and demonstrate compliance with the arm's length principle.
- Oversee and review the Transfer Pricing documentation and supporting documents required in the various jurisdictions where the group operates.
- Assess the impact of business initiatives, reorganisations, changes to operational models and regulatory developments on the Transfer Pricing framework.
- Work with the Finance, Accounting, Treasury, legal Affairs and business unit teams to gather the necessary information, apply policies and support tax audits.
- Improve processes, automate recurring work and monitor developments in Transfer Pricing and the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Your team You are part of a team of 27 tax specialists in the taxation sector and will report to the Senior Manager - Compensation taxation and international taxation. You work closely with several partners in the taxation, Accounting, legal Affairs, Treasury and Business Unit sectors.

Prerequisites - A professional designation of CPA, a master's degree or graduate diploma in taxation, or equivalent education in economics, finance, law or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Transfer Pricing
- Automation, data analysis and project management skills
- Experience in preparing and reviewing Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Good knowledge of Canadian Transfer Pricing rules and the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
- Proficient in analysing complex financial and operational data.
Languages: English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to collaborate with a regulator/authority/government body outside Quebec.
