POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Advisor, you are at the heart of transforming the employee experience at BDC. You contribute to creating a consistent, engaging environment aligned with business objectives by evolving HR practices and programs in a transversal and strategic way. As a trusted partner to multiple teams, you combine vision, data, artificial intelligence, and innovation to propose high value-added solutions and tools, while simplifying and modernizing approaches. This role is ideal for a rigorous, collaborative, and curious individual who is eager to manage projects, make an impact, and drive meaningful change.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional talent management projects at BDC, providing clear recommendations and taking ownership to move initiatives forward.
  • Be accountable for the initiatives under your responsibility through to the achievement of expected outcomes, ensuring effective deployment, adoption, and measurement.
  • Lead key employee experience programs, including workforce planning, engagement, succession, and performance management initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted partner and mobilize stakeholders (e.g., HR Business Partners, Communications, Change Management), ensuring alignment, providing practical tools, and maintaining proactive communication throughout all phases of initiatives, from scoping to evaluation.
  • Leverage data (surveys, metrics, trends) to inform decision-making and set priorities.
  • Monitor and stay informed on best practices and market trends within your area of expertise.
  • Proactively evolve and enhance HR practices.
  • Integrate AI capabilities pragmatically into practices and programs to improve efficiency, user experience, and decision-making.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources or consulting, ideally in employee experience, talent management, transformation, or organizational development.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale initiatives, with strong accountability and the ability to mobilize stakeholders.
  • Systems thinking and problem-solving mindset: ability to connect the dots, develop insights, and propose solutions while rethinking existing practices.
  • Curiosity, agility, and a strong ability to learn and adapt in a transformation context.
  • Strong solution orientation with the ability to simplify and make concepts actionable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with clarity and impact, in both French and English.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to leverage HR data to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Experience implementing AI solutions or tools as part of talent management processes.
  • Strong rigor and attention to detail, even in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of Workday is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of HR programs and practices, with the ability to explain them clearly.
