Responsibilities
  • Establishes and maintains manufacturing documentation and drawings.
  • Develops manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Develops and executes qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ) of equipment and processes.
  • Leads and manages manufacturing projects.
  • Participates and completes action items from weekly project meetings.
  • Serves as project leader for product and process modification.
  • Recommends and implements manufacturing tooling and fixtures.
  • Trains production operators.
  • Coordinates Non-Conforming Material / CAPA Activities with QA.
  • Supports transfer of new products from R&D.
  • May supervise manufacturing/engineering technicians.
  • Coordinates and delegates tasks, and directs work flow to meet daily objectives.
  • Maintains all technical services and facilities business metrics.
  • Prioritizes repair efforts to minimize impact on production when faced with multiple equipment issues.
  • Responsible for the selection, training, development and recognition of existing and new staff.
  • Develops a highly skilled and accountable staff through training, development, goal setting, counseling and performance feedback. Maintains appropriate records in these areas.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
