ResponsibilitiesPeraton is now hiring aSr Acquistion Specialist for its' Federal Strategic Cyber program.
Location: Quantico,Virginia
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate purchases of hardware, software, and services in support of the equipment procurement mission.
- Identifythe procurement needs of theprogram.
- Conduct market research toidentifypotential suppliers and compare offers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secureadvantageousterms.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Develop procurement strategies andmaintainstrong working relationships with suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end procure-to-pay for CAP and ODC items: sourcing, RFQs, evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, and receipt/acceptance coordination.
- Coordinate with engineering, contracts, finance, and program leads to ensure technical/contract compliance and budget alignment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university with 8 years of relevant experience, OR a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 6 years of experience, OR Ph.D. in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in purchasing, procurement, and/or acquisition.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual27s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
