Job Description

Provide the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with Senior Acquisition Associate Executive Support Services, including managing all action items assigned by higher headquarters and external agencies. Partner with CFO to establish timelines and details of tasking deliverables. Manage tasking for all subordinate and matrixed organizations on financial deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Coordinate and assist with the scheduling and preparation of financial review meetings on behalf of the CFO.
  • Manage all action items assigned to by higher headquarters and external agencies using Space Force and locally directed tools, policies, and guidance to evaluate and prioritize all incoming action items, assign items to appropriate groups or individuals, track progress against suspense dates, ensure proper closure, and maintain and update information contained in databases to track and coordinate efforts
  • Monitor the Operations Management Enterprise Staff Management System's Enterprise Task Management Software Solution, formerly known as Task Management Tool, inbox for assigned tasks.
  • Analyze, interpret, track, monitor, and disseminate all tasks to appropriate Management Operations point of contact and assist in reviewing, coordinating, distributing, consolidating, analyzing, and monitoring action items and responses to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide regular recurring status updates to the CFO on all official tasking suspense items.
  • Monitor CFO's Outlook appointment calendars, highlight conflicts in relationship to task suspense dates, and help develop action plans to deconflict priorities.
  • Provide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures; prepare agendas, reports, and briefings for high-level program meetings and briefings


Job Requirements

12+ years of experience performing military and/or civilian executive-level support services, protocol, information management, and administrative support activities; including specifically the areas of: Executive Staff Support Functions, Military Protocol Information Management/Operations Support, and demonstrative ability to interface with Senior Leadership within the government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit/non-profit government support/development contractor arena, of which four years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of Department of Defense programs.

Experience required using standardized and specialized software applications such as, but not limited to the following:

-At a minimum, five (5) years of Microsoft Office Suite experience

- Intermediate level experience with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint a plus.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing maybe required . This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
