Responsibilities

  • Administer and enhance corporate accounting systems including D365 and OneStream.

Full Job Description
Winnebago Industries is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team based in Eden Prairie, MN. This role is hybrid. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial results and related processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting, this role will be involved in accounting for enterprise-wide accruals and reserves, intercompany processes, chart of accounts, financial systems administration, allocations, and consolidation.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Perform monthly analysis, journal entries and account reconciliations, as assigned.
  • Collaborate with enterprise functional partners to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and allocated.
  • Lead intercompany accounting workstream, including intercompany sales, allocations, and eliminations for enterprise consolidation and for assigned business units.
  • Maintain the global chart of accounts, including coordination with business units and enterprise functions to retain proper system mapping and documentation.
  • Support enterprise close and consolidation process, ensuring all business unit financials are properly submitted and month-end close processes are executed.
  • Execute key internal controls for assigned areas, ensuring operating effectiveness and validating control design.
  • Develop, propose, document, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and financial statement accuracy.
  • Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits.
  • Administer and maintain corporate accounting systems and applications (D365, OneStream, etc.), supporting expansion of the tool capabilities, as needed.
  • Support and execute various projects and processes, as requested.


Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience, including public accounting and/or relevant industry experience with a public company.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or CMA and public accounting experience preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analytical skills.


This posting includes a range of the salary across a geographical market. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $110,000 in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
