About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in support of Pinnacle Fertility's mission to strengthen and streamline the financial operations of a growing, dynamic organization. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance core financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, support compliance initiatives, and drive operational efficiencies across multiple clinic locations.

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to take ownership of key accounting functions, identify process improvements, contribute to operational excellence, and help build scalable financial processes to support the organization's continued growth.

This is a full-time, salaried position based onsite in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned clinics and corporate entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements, general ledger analysis, and journal entries.
  • Prepares monthly journal entries, reconciles balance sheet accounts, and ensures financial statements are accurate and complete in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Reconciles accounts receivable, cash receipts, credit card transactions, intercompany accounts, and disbursements to the general ledger.
  • Prepares clear and organized account analyses for balance sheet accounts and maintains reconciliation of clearing accounts.
  • Analyzes financial results, identifies variances and trends, and provides insights to support business decisions.
  • Assists in audit preparations, including year-end audits and subsystem interfaces, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Operations, Payroll, Revenue Cycle, and other departments to resolve accounting issues and support business goals.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Supports special projects, acquisitions, integrations, and other finance initiatives as assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
    • CPA designation preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience required.
    • Healthcare, multi-site, or private equity-backed organization experience preferred.
    • Public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and expense management systems.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 annually. Final salary offers will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
