We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, supporting the month-end close process, analyzing financial activity, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys improving processes while maintaining financial accuracy.

What You'll DoAs a Senior Accountant, you will:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial results, research variances, and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Review and understand general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Partner with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation to external auditors.
- Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance, review work product, and help coordinate workflow within the accounting team.
- Assist with both corporate and property accounting responsibilities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Property accounting experience.
- Experience working with Yardi accounting software.
- Previous experience supporting audits and financial statement preparation.
Annual Base Salary Range: $86,558 - $108,197. This position is eligible to participate in the company's annual discretionary bonus program.
