Location - This is a hybrid position, based in either our downtown Chicago or Elmhurst office.

About the role:

Support month end close, audits, tax coordination, treasury activities, and fixed asset and capital project management. Partner cross functionally to strengthen financial accuracy, operational execution, and process improvement through strong ownership, communication, analytical problem solving, and effective project management.

The role manages detailed accounting activities, supports audits and tax requirements, maintains treasury and fixed asset stewardship, and upholds strong internal controls. This position provides reliable financial information to leadership, collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure operational alignment, and enhances processes through analytical review and problem solving. The Senior Accountant supports organizational scalability by maintaining disciplined documentation, consistent reporting standards, and a structured approach to financial governance.

Responsibilities:
  • Support financial month end activities
  • Support multiple audits (financial, insurance, 401k, tax, etc.)
  • Work in conjunction with our outside tax partners on Corporate and Sales Tax
  • Support treasury management
  • Partner with Operations on Fixed Assets and Capital Expenditures to ensure proper project management
  • Work cross functionally on financial/operational activities and related project management

Experience & Skills we value:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Three to five years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices
  • Experience supporting month end close, audits, tax compliance, treasury activities, and fixed asset accounting
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation techniques
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross functional collaboration
  • CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification preferred but not required

Nice to have and/or you'll learn:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with treasury processes, cash management, and banking documentation
  • Background supporting corporate and sales tax activities with external tax advisors
  • Familiarity with capital expenditure processes and project tracking
  • Experience working in a high growth or evolving operational environment
  • Prior involvement in process improvement initiatives or system enhancements

Base Pay range for this position:
  • $70,000 - $100,000 annually
  • Target Annual Bonus: 10% of base salary

The final discretionary compensation that will be offered for this role depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

This position requires current authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship, including support for F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT), STEM OPT extensions, or other temporary work authorization programs.
