A hospitality group with a portfolio of hotels and resorts is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join its central accounting team. This person will prepare monthly financial statements for multiple properties and operating entities, partner with hotel finance teams, and help ensure accurate financial reporting across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and provide accounting support for multiple hotel operations and corporate departments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with hotel controllers and accounting teams to monitor and accurately record departmental expenses.
- Analyze results against budgets and forecasts.
- Support the annual budget process.
- Prepare and monitor accounts receivable billings for third-party managed properties.
- Assist with additional projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting.
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems is a plus; PeopleSoft experience is especially helpful.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Salary: $90,000-$95,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
