Responsibilities

Senior Accountant, Real Estate

Location: Beverly Hills, CA

$80,000 - $105,000 + Bonus

A well-established, privately held real estate investment and development company headquartered in Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team. This company owns and manages a diverse portfolio of multi-family, medical office, commercial, and industrial properties across California and the Midwest, along with an active development pipeline.

This is a hands-on role for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants direct visibility with senior leadership.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including general ledger scrubs, journal entries, account analysis, and bank reconciliations
  • Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Maintain monthly rent rolls
  • Process monthly rent, CAM, and late fee billing
  • Abstract leases and ensure accurate recordation in property management software
  • Support construction accounting for active development projects
  • Generate ad hoc accounting and finance reports as needed
  • Partner closely with the Controller and CFO, with direct communication with company ownership

Reporting Structure
