What you9ll do- Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of fiscally sponsored programs - from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end close
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements and reporting for internal leadership and the programs we support
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activity with a sharp eye for accuracy
- Track restricted and unrestricted funds and help ensure grant and donor compliance
- Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and year-end audit preparation
- Spot process improvements and help us build cleaner, faster ways to work as we scale
What you bring- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a fast-growing or high-volume environment
- A bachelor9s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong grasp of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Comfort with accounting software and strong Excel skills
- Sharp attention to detail, strong organization, and the judgment to prioritize when a lot is moving at once
- Clear, honest communication - you share what you see early and often
Not required, but a plus: nonprofit or fund accounting experience, familiarity with fiscal sponsorship, or a CPA. If you9ve got general accounting chops and the drive to grow, we want to hear from you - we9ll teach you the nonprofit side.
