Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesRole OverviewThe Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting will support the Company's external financial reporting process through hands-on preparation of SEC filings, disclosures, and technical accounting analyses. This role is ideal for a high-performing senior accountant with public accounting and/or public company experience who is looking to deepen SEC reporting and technical accounting expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesSEC & External Reporting- Prepare components of SEC filings, including:
- Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
- Financial statement footnotes and supporting schedules
- Assist with tie-outs, disclosure checklists, and quality control procedures.
- Support XBRL tagging and filing logistics.
- Prepare documentation and schedules to support external auditor reviews.
Technical Accounting Support- Research U.S. GAAP guidance for accounting and disclosure questions.
- Prepare draft technical accounting memos for review by Manager/Director.
- Assist with evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Support accounting analysis for transactions such as revenue arrangements, equity compensation, restructurings, or M&A (as applicable).
Other Responsibilities- Administration and accounting for equity plans, including RSUs and ESPP program
- Coordinate required valuations of various performance equity awards
- Ensure appropriate accounting for leases under ASC 842
Controls & Compliance- Execute SOX controls related to external financial reporting and disclosures.
- Maintain clear, well-organized workpapers to support filings and audits.
- Assist with addressing auditor questions and walkthroughs.
Cross-Functional Coordination- Work with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and other accounting teams to gather data used in SEC filings.
- Support earnings close and reporting calendar activities.
Process & Development- Identify opportunities to improve documentation, efficiency, and repeatability in reporting processes.
- Continue building technical accounting and SEC reporting expertise with coaching from leadership.
QualificationsRequired- ~2-4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
- Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) or public company accounting.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Preferred- Experience supporting SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q exposure a plus).
- CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.
- Exposure to technical accounting research or memo preparation.
- Experience working in a Big 4-audited environment.

Compensation & Growth• Base Salary Range:
$93,600.00 - $140,400.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
