Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $110,000 • $125,000

Job Summary:

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for an accountant who wants to be the person who figures it out, not just the person who processes it. The Senior Accountant will own escalated rebate resolution and core month-end close, working directly with supplier finance contacts and member-dealer accounting teams. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable owning a problem until it's solved, and energized by improving a process rather than just running it, this role is built for you.

  • Engage suppliers directly on late, short, or unreconciled payments
  • Support member dealers with clear answers on rebate amounts, timing, and allocations
  • Reconcile program-level activity against eligible volume and program terms
  • Support the annual reconciliation and true-up cycle
  • Track and report aging on open items before they become member-facing problems

General Accounting & Month-End Close
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and recurring entries, on schedule
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, AR, AP, and rebate-related accounts
  • Process and review day-to-day transactions, including AR, AP, and disbursements
  • Support ACH batch preparation, verification, and cash flow tracking
  • Assist in preparing internal financial statements and variance explanations

Technology & Process Improvement
  • Leverage NetSuite and rebate platforms to automate and streamline recurring work
  • Identify control gaps and recommend practical improvements
  • Reduce manual effort each cycle by building or improving a process

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience resolving matters directly with external parties
  • Ownership mentality - self-directed, accountable, and proactive
  • Confident communicator who can explain accounting outcomes to non-accountants
  • A driven, "hungry" mindset - motivated to own the work, not just complete it

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with rebate, chargeback, commission, or incentive programs
  • Background in a cooperative, buying group, or distribution environment
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
  • Exposure to AI tools in an accounting or finance context
