Full Job Description
N2G Worldwide Insurance Services, LLC is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a hybrid position based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Candidates must reside in New Jersey to be considered.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and supports the day-to-day accounting operations, critical month-end close activities, and General Ledger integrity for N2G Worldwide. This role will partner closely with internal/ external stakeholders to resolve accounting issues, provide support and improve processes.

This role is a Hybrid role located in Jersey City, NJ. Applicant must be situated in New Jersey to be considered for the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage the Accounts Payable cycle (invoice intake, coding, approvals, vendor maintenance), resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly Carrier Premium transfers.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Agency Management System in use, including underlying transaction processing in the billing module.
  • Assist with month-end close process (journal entries, support, timelines).
  • Responsible for various General Ledger account reconciliations to support detail and timely resolution of all reconciling items each month.
  • Translate monthly subsidiary financial results into local currency, load and reconcile monthly results in General Ledger.
  • Update and maintain Fixed Asset and Prepaid Asset schedules until new tool/process can be utilized.
  • Prepare monthly employee spend reports and distribute to department leaders.
  • Ensure finance operational processes and procedures are working efficiently to include up to date SOPs.
  • Support the external audit by providing reconciling schedules, documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Participate in special projects, analysis, and ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Adapt responsibilities as the Finance function and N2G organization evolve.


Experience And Skill Requirements

  • 4 Year Undergraduate Accounting degree is required.
  • 2-5 years of public accounting or internal audit experience preferred, strong accounting experience without audit background will also be considered.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus.
  • Inquisitive and curious as related to understanding transactional system intricacies and how this translates into financial statements.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, comfortable with introduction of AI tools in work processes.
  • Hands-on, self-starter with strong organizational skills, tolerance for transactional detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.

Position Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 depending on actual experience, skillset, and location. In addition to base salary, full-time N2G employees are also eligible for bonus potential.
