We're seeking a relationship-focused financial professional to join Plante Moran's Healthcare Consulting Senior Living team in Cleveland, OH. What you'll do
Partner with client leadership teams to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting initiatives.
Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve results.
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies by reconciling subsidiary systems with the general ledger.

The qualifications.
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
* CPA preferred but not required
* 3+ years of full charge staff accountant experience including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations and workpaper preparation experience
* Experience with PointClickCare or Sage Intacct preferred; Yardi, Peachtree and/or Creative Solutions a plus. Must have strong Excel skills.
* Fixed assets and depreciation
* Experience with FX and/or FAS preferred
* Payroll, including preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
* Travel throughout the eastern and central time zones on occasion with approximately 5% overnight travel

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.
The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
