About the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, maintaining strong internal controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. What You'll Do
  • Lead month-end closing processes, including preparation of analysis, calculations, journal entries, and monthly financial statements.
  • Perform complex accounting analysis in high-sensitivity and risk areas.
  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, audit schedules, and analyze historical accounting data.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure company adherence.
  • Evaluate, design, implement, document, maintain, and monitor accounting systems and processes to improve visibility, control, and compliance.
  • Serve as backup, providing accounting and system guidance and training within Finance & Accounting and to external departments.
  • Support special projects (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, systems implementation, financial analyses).


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, with at least 2 years in public accounting preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document complex accounting concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Infor-CSD, Sage, Visual Lease, OneStream).
  • Experience interpreting contracts, analyzing financial transactions, and adhering to GAAP.
  • Familiarity with implementing new accounting pronouncements and preparing technical memos.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Working Requirements:
  • Availability to work additional hours, including periodic overtime during quarter and year-end reporting deadlines.
  • Limited and infrequent travel may be required.
