Job DescriptionAbout the Team & Business Line:Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. Citco is expanding its Fund Administration business to now support registered products, and this key role will be a focus for the firm's future growth.
As a core member of our Registered Alternative Products Financial Statement and Regulatory Reporting team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
ResponsibilitiesYour Role:- Prepare and review annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS, as stipulated by the fund's governing documents and regulatory requirements. Compile and review the balance sheet, income statement, statement of changes, cash flow, schedule of investments, footnotes and additional schedules as required.
- Prepare and review supporting information for SEC Form filings (e.g., 10K/Q, N-CEN, N-CSR, N-PORT, 24F-2, N-2, N1-A)
- Coordinate the financial statement reporting process, including communicating with clients, independent auditors and Citco professionals
- Identify errors or problems and independently investigate; recommend solutions to supervisors and team members
- Work under minimal supervision while following established procedures
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure an exceptional product is delivered to our clients
- Consistently work on developing and implementing new automation of processes to continuously improve our product and service level
- Participate on other tasks and projects, as required by changing business needs
QualificationsAbout You:- 1 - 5 years of experience in Registered Fund accounting or reporting
- Experience with third-party reporting platforms such as Confluence, DFIN or Workiva
- Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements
- Previous financial statement or regulatory review and/or preparation experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS is required
- Knowledge in complex derivatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- CPA, CFA, CA or other professional designation preferred
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
