The Team You'll JoinYou'll join a high-impact Corporate Accounting team that plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial results. The team is responsible for core close processes, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and SOX-compliant controls, while also partnering closely with FP&A and business leaders across the organization. Our work directly supports executive decision-making and financial reporting for a business serving financial advisors and institutions.

How You'll Contribute Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations related to the accounting of assets, liabilities and expenditures. Prepares, reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records and account reconciliations. Determines and updates cost center requirements and rollup structures. Assists in the setting up of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report expenses, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Advises management in terms of financial reporting, tracking and performance.
• Prepares and reviews accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Performs account fluctuation and trend analyses, investigating unusual variances and partnering with business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial accuracy.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance requirements, audit documentation, and maintenance of key controls.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, enhance accounting procedures, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Supports continuous process improvement by executing system and technology enhancements.
• Leads the month-end / quarter-end process and develops reports and metrics to review with key internal personnel.
• Assists with researching and interpreting technical accounting` guidance and documenting conclusions in an organized logical manner.
• Assists in reviewing contracts and identifying and resolving accounting issues related to unique business arrangements.
• Stays up to date on the latest GAAP and SEC reporting requirements that could impact Envestnet's accounting and reporting practices.
What You'll Need to Bring • Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Technical and operational knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Knowledgeable regarding SOX and interactions with external auditors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance to execute in a dynamic and demanding environment by demonstrating organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure, highly detail oriented, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement.
• Ability to assess unusual circumstances and complex problems and use analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify cause(s) and recommend solutions.
• Have a high degree of organization, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office software tools, excellent technology, analytical, and communication skills with emphasis on professional business writing skills.
Nice-to-Haves- Public accounting experience is preferred.
- CPA preferred.

Our Investment in You This role offers a base salary range of $82,000 to $102,000. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
