About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to support our U.S. finance operations. This role will be responsible for reviewing payroll, maintaining accounts receivable, Leases & Fixed assets and supporting day-to-day accounting and reconciliation activities. This roll will be integral to the month end close process. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with US GAAP and payroll, and a proactive, hands-on approach to daily operations.
What You'll Do

Accounting Operations:
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end close tasks.
  • Maintain accounts receivable, invoice customers
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations related to banks, revenue, payroll, benefits, employee reimbursements and more.
  • Monitor GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Process Improvement & Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls over payroll and compensation accounting.
  • Identify and propose improvements to streamline payroll and cost accounting processes.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits related to payroll and compensation
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of payroll and/or general accounting experience, preferably in a U.S. GAAP based company.
  • Exposure to multi- entity corporations, international exposure is a plus.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to cost accounting or expense allocation practices.
  • Understanding of equity or bonus compensation accounting is a plus.
