Senior Accountant

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting general ledger accounting, financial reporting, audit support, and month-end close activities while ensuring accuracy and integrity across financial processes. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
  • Lead designated portions of the month-end and year-end close process and support accurate, timely financial reporting
  • Prepare financial reports, analyses, and variance explanations to support accounting leadership and business decision-making
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support revenue and expense accruals and analyze financial statement fluctuations
  • Coordinate and support external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries
  • Determine methods and procedures to resolve complex accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and support departmental best practices
  • Coordinate directly with external auditors and internal stakeholders to support compliance and reporting requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis
  • Previous experience in public accounting preferred
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, including experience with NetSuite or similar platforms
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models

What we offer:

The gross salary range for this role is $95,000 - $104,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
