Full Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Senior Accountant for our Lake Mary, FL office to be responsible for assisting the Revenue Manager in ensuring compliance with applicable revenue accounting standards, supporting month-end close process and internal reporting, supporting quarterly and annual audits, and documenting compliance with internal controls. This role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, requiring strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of balance sheet reconciliations.

The salary range for the position is $85,000 - $130,000.

How you will make a difference @ FARO CREAFORM:
  • The Revenue Senior Accountant must be well-versed in ASC 606, the accounting standard that governs revenue recognition.
  • They should understand the five-step model for recognizing revenue from contracts with customers.
  • Maintain an understanding of the business unit's revenue streams and accounting treatment for each performance obligation type.
  • Gain an understanding of SAP RAR
  • Assist with billing processes and RAR process break-fix.
  • Monitor and reconcile deferred revenue balances and ensure proper recognition of revenue.
  • Support the revenue month-close process, balance sheet reconciliations for revenue related accounts, and aid in documenting variance analysis
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams regarding order handling, timing, and resolution of proper revenue recognition inquiries
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue accounting process, including the use of AI.
  • Support ongoing financial reporting and internal and external audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, company policies, and internal controls
  • Identify and drive process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.


You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 2-4+ years of accounting experience in a multi-entity or global environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP, including foreign currency and lease accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience working with multi-currency environments and FX impacts.
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance and control requirements.
  • Effective communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
