Full Job Description
Role: Senior Accountant

Location: Seattle metro area, hybrid

Compensation: Base salary of $95,000 to $110,000 dependent on experience

Our client is seeking a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help shape scalable finance processes across multiple business units. As a key member of the growing finance and accounting team, you'll take ownership of core accounting activities, drive process improvements, and collaborate with business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounting processes in compliance with GAAP, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets
  • Lead month-end close activities and support project accounting
  • Prepare and analyze reports such as ad hoc financial analysis, bank reconciliations, and cash balance forecasts
  • Drive process improvements by documenting, standardizing, and enhancing accounting procedures and efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
  • Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions that support project accounting and the monthly close process

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency transactions (preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CPA designation (preferred)
