Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Nashville Metropolitan Area

Job Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000/year

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support the day-to-day accounting functions of a growing organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and record journal entries, account reconciliations, and other routine accounting transactions.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Analyze financial information and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare financial reports and support schedules for management review.
  • Support compliance, audit, and reporting requirements by maintaining organized documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
  • Assist with various accounting projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification preferred or in progress.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a corporate, public accounting, or similar environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
