Job Description

As a Senior Account Specialist at Thomson Reuters U.S. Inc., you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by understanding customer needs, developing compelling solutions, and building strong, lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities within an assigned territory or client base.
  • Conduct thorough customer needs assessments to understand business processes, challenges, and strategic objectives.
  • Leverage consultative selling techniques to articulate the value proposition of Thomson Reuters products and services.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to individual client requirements.
  • Influence key stakeholders and decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Effectively navigate and manage complex sales processes, utilizing sales technology and tools.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure client satisfaction and solution delivery.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Thomson Reuters products, market trends, and web-based technologies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.

Required Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel periodically within the assigned territory or client base, as business needs required

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $106,400 USD - $197,600 USD. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. Target total cash compensation ranges are inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
