Role OverviewProAg has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing relationships with our accounts, acting as their main point of contact, and delivering exceptional service. This role will require some travel up to 10% of the time.
In this Exciting Opportunity, You Will: - Be the initial point of contact for many of our agency partners throughout the country that will be managed remotely.
- Be the source of ProAg and industry communication for our agency partners
- Help agents with navigating to the best contact inside the ProAg team for challenges that may arise.
- Understand department underwriting procedures.
- Understand ProAg products and where they may best fit the agent or insured.
- Be able to efficiently and effectively respond to requests that may be time sensitive
- Communicate with agents by answering questions and explaining decisions to build and maintain productive relationships.
- Assist department in meeting annual company goals for profitability, renewal retention, revenue growth, and new business production
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to colleagues and use CRM to keep organization informed as to the nature of our relationship with the agencies.
What You Bring- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
- Experience in the crop insurance industry preferred, but not a requirement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
