Full Job Description
Overview of the Role:

The Senior Account Manager is part of the Direct & Programmatic Demand team, embedded within a revenue pod alongside a dedicated Sales Manager, and working closely with agencies and advertisers across the Americas. Reporting to the VP, Ad Sales, this role will own new customer onboarding, delivering success for their campaigns and new upsell/cross-sell opportunities - while leading internal coordination with sales planning, operations, creative solutions, insights, measurement partnerships, supply partnerships, and tech teams.

Client-facing and regionally embedded, the Lead AM is a primary point of contact for the agency, owns the health of the account post-sale, and is directly responsible for identifying and closing upsell opportunities - that build on the success of the campaigns they run.

Location: This role is open to candidates based in New York, NY or Chicago, IL. Some travel may be required for client meetings and events as needed.

The Impact You'll Make:
  • Onboard new advertiser customers in your Revenue pod onto InMobi and Glance ad systems and infrastructure
  • Own the end-to-end delivery and KPI optimization of every deal sold by Sales Manager partners - coordinating research, creative, attribution, ad operations, and any other specialist teams required to execute what was sold.
  • Act as the client's day-to-day point of contact post-sale, managing quarterly account retention and growth plans, revenue and margin management, and overall account health.
  • Own upsell and cross-sell goals for your managed accounts - and track all upsell activities in Salesforce.
  • Partner with your Sales Managers to co-own the account's long-term strategy, bringing proactive, data-driven recommendations and account intelligence that support the pod's overall revenue growth targets.
  • Lead campaign analysis and reviews; provide consultative guidance to clients in weekly or bi-weekly check-ins and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Manage the full solution lifecycle for campaigns individually and across partner teams - pre-sale media planning support, client onboarding, campaign delivery, in-flight optimization, and post-campaign reporting and deliverables.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, revenue strategy, technical account management (TAM), product marketing, ad operations, creative, insights, agency development, and demand partner teams to ensure successful execution and fast resolution of client issues.
  • Work with Technical Account Management and Ops teams to troubleshoot campaign issues, and liaise directly with third-party partners such as DSPs, DMPs, and measurement vendors.
  • Escalate at-risk accounts early - pacing issues, unresolved service problems, or stakeholder changes at the client
  • Prioritize your week around what each account in your book needs - a renewal conversation, a QBR, resolving a client issue
  • Surface marketplace feedback and client insights to inform InMobi's broader product and go-to-market strategy

How You're Measured:

This role is goaled on two connected outcomes:
  • Pod revenue growth - shared accountability with your Sales Manager partners for the overall revenue performance of the accounts in your pod
  • Individual revenue contribution - a dedicated, separately tracked upsell target generated from the deals you manage, logged and measured in Salesforce

The Experience We Need:
  • 8+ years of overall client success or account management experience, including at least 4 years in digital and/or programmatic advertising.
  • A proven track record of owning post-sale account health and driving measurable retention and growth within existing client accounts, including experience carrying or contributing to an upsell/renewal target.
  • Strong ownership instincts and proactive communication - comfortable operating as one half of a tight, paired pod (AM + Seller) rather than managing an undifferentiated account list.
  • Strong account management and client success experience, including managing complex agency and brand relationships and co-owning account strategy with a sales partner
  • Hands-on experience with major DSPs and platforms such as The Trade Desk (TTD), DV360, and Amazon DSP is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional teams (Sales, Ad Ops, Creative, Insights, Product) and building trusted relationships internally
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics/BI tools
  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable interpreting campaign data to identify performance trends, risks, and upsell opportunities, and translating them into clear client recommendations
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, campaigns, and stakeholders simultaneously, and to reprioritize quickly as account needs shift
  • Willingness and flexibility to work with global teams across several time zones
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
