Senior Account Manager is responsible for the long-term success, retention, and growth of a portfolio of Wisetail's most strategic accounts. The Senior Account Manager works as an extension of each client's business, guiding clients toward measurable outcomes while identifying opportunities for expanded impact and multi-year growth. This is a senior individual contributor position with no direct reports; in addition to carrying a book of business, the Senior Account Manager sets the standard for account management practice across the team through mentorship, escalation support, and contribution to team playbooks. This position will travel up to 25% of the time.
Shift/Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Local Time M-FSalary & Benefits InformationThe salary range for this position is $85,000 - $99,844. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. What you'll do:- Own the long-term success, retention, renewal, and growth strategy for a portfolio of strategic client accounts.
- Build and maintain strong executive and cross-functional stakeholder relationships through regular engagement, business reviews, and trusted advisory support.
- Develop and execute account plans, expansion strategies, and adoption initiatives aligned with client business objectives and ROI goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, create proposals, forecast renewals and upsells, and lead contract negotiations to achieve retention and revenue targets.
- Monitor account health, analyze performance and ROI metrics, mitigate risks proactively, and recommend solutions that drive program success.
- Translate client needs into effective platform, content, and operational strategies while providing guidance on product capabilities, integrations, and best practices.
Support organizational success by maintaining CRM accuracy, sharing customer insights, mentoring team members, contributing to process improvements, and assisting with hiring
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with 5+ years of success in senior client-facing SaaS or technology account management roles focused on renewals, retention, and growth.
- Proven ability to lead executive-level stakeholder discussions, manage complex long-cycle accounts, and deliver consultative, value-driven solutions across multiple business functions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience developing ROI-based recommendations, interpreting performance data, managing competing priorities, and presenting to executive audiences.
- Customer-focused, detail-oriented professional with strong technical and administrative capabilities, the ability to travel as needed, and authorization to live and work remotely within the United States.
