Full Job Description

Job Duties

  • Manages a book of high net worth, ultra high net worth, and family office clients, acting with a high degree of independent discretion, autonomy, and decision making on sophisticated risks.
  • Serves as a strategic advisor to clients, preparing annual reviews and leading client meetings to review the insurance program, identify coverage gaps, and recommend improvements across multi property, multi state, and multi entity risk profiles.
  • Partners closely with Producers on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal strategy for the firm's largest and most complex accounts, while adhering to HUB's best practices and standard procedures.
  • Develops deep understanding of clients' full insurance objectives, including trust, entity, and family office structures, and critically analyzes and compares complex insurance plans to determine suitability.
  • Coordinates with clients' other trusted advisors, such as attorneys, wealth managers, and family office staff, to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management.
  • Maintains the highest level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive client, financial, and family information.
  • Represents HUB professionally in client facing settings, including in person meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Drives new business development from existing accounts and referral sources, mentors junior account managers, and contributes meaningfully to departmental production and retention goals. Proactively identifies cross selling opportunities across the household and related entities.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with high net worth insurance carriers, including Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, Berkley One, and Private Client Select, required.
  • Extensive experience managing large, complex Personal Lines accounts for affluent, UHNW, and family office clients required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency in an insurance Senior Account Management role, with a track record of independently managing complex or high profile accounts.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills, with the ability to advise clients confidently on sophisticated coverage matters.
  • Superior customer service, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Polished, professional presence with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated comfort interacting with UHNW individuals, family offices, and their advisors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead and mentor within a team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Current with all necessary CE credits in required lines and states.
  • Holds current Texas General Agents License.
  • CPRIA, CPRM, or similar personal risk designation preferred.
