  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Support and guide volunteers in hospital engagement efforts.
  • Travel to assigned hospitals and potential clients at least 3 days a week.

Job Description:

The American Red Cross is seeking a dynamic and experiencedSenior Account Manager- Idaho, Montana and Yakima, WA area area, to lead strategic sales efforts within a high-value hospital territory. This role is responsible for managing key clinical and executive-level relationships across hospitals that utilize Red Cross blood products and services. With a focus on growth and retention, you will educate stakeholders on our offerings, negotiate contracts, and expand our footprint into new hospital systems.

This is a high-impact role ideal for professionals with a strong background in healthcare salesparticularly those with experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or hospital systemswho are passionate about making a difference in patient care.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of hospital accounts, generating approximately $30M in revenue.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within and beyond the current customer base.

  • Provide guidance and support to volunteers as needed in support of hospital engagement.
  • Travel to assigned hospitals and prospects at least 3 days per week.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Education:Bachelors degree required; a background in science or healthcare is preferred.
  • Experience:Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in healthcare sales, clinical services, or a related field. Experience selling to hospitals, pharma, or medical device companies is highly desirable.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both clinical and executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to absorb and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Collaborative, analytical, and results-driven mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with demonstrated experience managing data, reporting, and insights.
  • Must have strong Excel skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Travel:Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Some overnight travel (up to 20%) is required.

The target compensation for this position is $96,624/yeas,  plus the ability to earn incentives

This position will work out of your home base location in or near Boise, but will require regular in-person visits to hospital clients.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.
