Position: Senior Account Manager - CASE

Location: Ontario (Burlington / Oakville)

Status: Permanent, full-time (1)

Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Senior Account Manager to grow and manage a territory, with a strong focus on new business development and customer relationship management within our Industrial group.

In this role, you will develop and execute strategic business plans, promote Quadra's products and services, and build long-term partnerships with customers. Regular travel within the assigned region is required.

The ideal candidate brings proven sales experience, strong industry relationships, and a passion for helping customers succeed. Working closely with a talented team, you will use your understanding of market trends and customer needs to drive growth and deliver value.

What would be your main responsibilities as a Senior Account Manager?
  • Develop sales with new and existing customers in addition to maintaining existing customers in the sales territory
  • Manage key customer relationships in accordance with Quadra's core values and strategic vision
  • Demonstrate exceptional performance by consistently surpassing annual sales and margin targets
  • Develop and utilize internal and external resources, leveraging Quadra's reputation for service excellence
  • Sell Quadra's superior product line to potential customers through routine customer visits, joint calls and participation in industry events
  • Play a crucial role in assisting customers with troubleshooting and identifying optimization opportunities to enhance their experience and maximize their benefits
  • Effectively manage tight deadlines and handle any emergencies that may arise outside of business hours ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations
  • Conduct thorough qualification processes to identify key decision makers and understand their unique needs, enabling you to provide tailored solutions and forge strong relationships based on mutual success
  • Successfully close new business opportunities by coordinating requirements, skillfully developing proposals, and conducting negotiations that align with contractual requirements, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome for all parties involved
  • Engaging in proactive outreach activities (cold calling) to potential clients
  • Maintaining regular communication and providing updates (reporting) on activities and scheduling are key components of the position
  • Participate in the yearly forecasting exercise

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in account management, strategic sales, commercial leadership, or a related industry.
  • Proven success managing complex, strategic, or high-value accounts while consistently achieving or exceeding sales and business growth objectives.
  • Strong business-to-business (B2B) sales experience within a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment, with a demonstrated ability to influence customer strategies and build long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative commercial approaches, customer-focused solutions, and growth strategies that create value across multiple accounts, markets, or regions.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, customer business drivers, and applicable regulatory requirements, with the ability to translate insights into strategic opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior-level internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead complex customer discussions, negotiate commercial agreements, and align multiple stakeholders around sustainable business solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a track record of addressing complex and strategic business challenges through proactive, value-driven solutions.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and strategic thinking.

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be between $88,100.00 and $148,625.00. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and full benefits. Quadra's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
