Senior Account Manager

Department: Account Management

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth

Reporting To: Christine Callejas

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 / year

Description

About the Role:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management of client accounts, overseeing project execution across point-of-sale (POS), and promotional programs. Prior experience working with printing vendors for onsite press checks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management
  • Understand our clients' business, and their goals/needs; ensure they feel valued.
  • Work independently and with team members to drive efficiencies and problem-solve. Escalate issues/challenges to your manager, communicate resolutions effectively.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, proactively and professionally lead client relationships, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Identify and resolve any/all issues relating to client within agreed SLA's.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with internal support departments and key external suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams in the strategic planning and tactical execution of results-driven campaigns for promotional/premium related projects.
  • Prepare and provide professional presentations to clients and customers.

Team Management
  • Provide leadership and management to the team, including setting goals and objectives, managing workload and priorities, and ensuring the team meets client deliverables.
  • Identify training and development needs of team members and provide opportunities for growth and development.

Supplier Management
  • Collaborate directly with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time production and delivery.
  • Maintain ongoing supplier relationships, addressing issues, clarifying expectations, and supporting cost and quality control.
  • Review creative concepts and physical samples to ensure brand and project alignment.

Campaign Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and analyze program performance, generating regular updates/reports to client and leadership.
  • Use data insights to make recommendations for ongoing improvements and future program planning.


Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience working for a promotional product, or procurement outsource agency, servicing CPG/retail client brand teams.
  • 3+ years of leadership/management experience
  • Prior experience overseeing campaigns that include print, point-of-sale, tradeshow booths or experiential production.
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships, including direct vendor communication and issue resolution.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to assess the big picture and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Self-starter with a resourceful, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Strong project or order management skills, with exceptional organization, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in growing and maintaining accounts, driving top-line revenue and margin growth.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with client marketing teams, internal supply chain groups, and global stakeholders.
  • Culturally aware and able to communicate effectively across international teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, client-facing presence.
