Full Job Description
Location:

The Semiconductor Quality Manager is an onsite role in Dallas, TX with approximately 10% domestic and international travel required to meet business needs.

Your Role:
  • Lead and develop a global team of quality engineers to drive execution excellence and ensure the highest quality standards for semiconductor materials delivered to major customers worldwide
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration to swiftly resolve complex technology challenges and minimize business impact
  • Drive root cause investigations and lead cross-functional teams in implementing robust corrective, preventative, and mitigation actions to uphold world-class quality standards
  • Own and oversee quality audits at manufacturing sites and toller facilities, ensuring compliance and continuous readiness
  • Cultivate and advance a startup quality culture by partnering with site and cross-functional teams to embed quality-first thinking at every level
  • Serve as the primary voice of the customer, translating customer expectations and feedback into actionable site priorities
  • Accountable for sustaining and improving quality performance across sites by fostering collaboration between site teams and global functional groups, driving measurable continuous improvement
  • Enforce disciplined application of process control tools (e.g., SPC reviews) to ensure quality, reduce variation, and uncover continuous improvement opportunities
  • Identify and champion automation initiatives to accelerate decision-making and enhance visibility into unknown variables and emerging issues
  • Disposition discrepant materials, identify process gaps, and lead cross-functional and external stakeholder efforts to implement controls that prevent and reduce variation
  • Contribute to and support the advancement of global quality projects, Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvements, and data-driven optimization initiatives aligned with internal and customer requirements
  • Identify, assess, and recommend risk mitigation strategies to safeguard business financials, quality commitments, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead risk assessments for new product introductions and ensure robust process controls are in place to prevent quality escapes to customers


Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or other technical discipline
  • 8+ yrs or more in chemical manufacturing, process engineering, control engineering, analytical chemist, or semiconductor fabrication experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS or PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or other technical discipline
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams while collaborating effectively across multiple internal stakeholder groups
  • Track record of successfully contributing to project advancement, team development, and process improvement initiatives
  • Hands-on experience applying Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies or leading data-driven process optimization projects
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and activities
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in statistical methods, including SPC, t-tests, ANOVA, and single and multivariate statistical modeling
  • Skilled in quality problem-solving tools (5 Whys, segmentation, Model-Based Problem Solving), FMEAs, continuous improvement (CI) activities, management of change, and document control systems
  • Proficient in data science and statistical software, including JMP, Palantir Foundry, and/or Python, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Experience in process improvement, data automation, and data digitization initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Industry experience within the Electronics sector, with preference for semiconductor environments
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with SAP


Pay range for this position: $160,000 - $212,500

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
