Role Overview:This role is for an Engineer specializing in HiTech Automation Testing, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Perform API, UI, and database testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Maintain test data and support test environment setup.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
- Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Provide testing metrics and quality reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills:- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Expertise in Cucumber (BDD Framework) and Gherkin.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit.
- API testing using Postman and/or Rest Assured.
- Strong SQL skills for database validation.
- Experience with Jenkins.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with Bitbucket.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Experience in defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
Qualifications:- 8-10 years of experience in automation testing.
