Full Job Description
Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to maintain Navy aviation laboratory environments and equipment. This position requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD.

Travel10% Clearance

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements
  • At least five years’ experience supporting naval platform integration laboratory environments
  • Experience using electronic test instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
  • Significant experience performing troubleshooting, replacement, and repair of electronic components
  • Experience performing Test and Evaluation (T&E) of military systems or equipment
  • Experience using aircraft wiring diagrams and demonstrated knowledge of proper aircraft wiring rules and techniques
  • Familiarity with Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) manuals
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment with or without assistance (50+ lbs.)

  • Completion of Navy A/B/C schools or IPC certification

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $79,000.00 -$107,000.00 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
